Current Technique Solar Status
- Technique Solar Module (TSM) will not be an off the shelf purchase like a heater, evaporative cooling system, fridge etc or for that matter existing solar panels. In fact one TSM delivers the same energy outcome as that achieved by a bank of at least 12 conventional solar panels.
- The TS Business Model is for the TSMs to be rolled out as infrastructure complementing existing energy supplies (I.E. grid energy). In other words the TSMs will be owned/leased by Power Utilities, Local Councils, Regional and Community Groups, Private Equity Groups, who will then arrange for installation onto the premises (residential, commercial, industrial, educational) to compliment/substitute existing energy supply from fossil fuel sources (grid).

TS has been determined to establish an Australian based solar manufacturing
industry to supply orders for installation of the TSM into the Australian
market. To this end TS is in the final stages of negotiations to sign off on
licensing agreements with Australian manufacturers in the following areas:
- Polymer based troughs.
- Aluminium heat exchangers & copper tubing inserts.
- Metal based spines, laterals & pedestals.
- Electronic control boards.
- Acrylic lenses.
- Hot water storage tanks.
- Water pumps, isolation boxes, gear motor drives.
- TS is also in the final stages of negotiations with foreign suppliers of PV cells and inverters, both items being of the highest quality available in the world today.
- It is expected that a production ready TSM will be operational by late November 2011 from which will follow a rigorous infield testing regime, including electrical safety and renewable energy certificate accreditation. A large number of potential international entities from the US, China, India, Indonesia, Spain & Malaysia to name a few, currently await an invitation to visit Australia to view a demonstration of the TSM technology.
- TS is already holding an "in principle" order for 39,000 TSMs in Australia that will be activated once the preproduction TSM has successfully completed the testing regime including accreditation for both Safety and REC's. This order has been placed by a Private Equity Group on behalf of Affordable Housing Australia. TS is also currently involved in negotiations to supply a substantial pilot project in NSW which will be used for demonstration purposes to encourage private citizens, commercial, industrial and educational interests to install efficient solar energy systems. It is expected that production to fulfil these orders will commence during 4th Quarter 2012.
- TS has engaged in discussions with a number of potential Supply Chain Managers (SCM) for this super important role as the overarching party responsible for the following:
- Acceptance of the TSM product warranty.
- Managing the production requirements and the quality assurance.
- Undertaking arrangements for achieving Accreditation of the TSM.
- Working with TS to ensure that arrangements with licensed OEM's and suppliers operate efficiently and supplies are maintained as required.
- Establish and maintain appropriate arrangements as required by the Infrastructure owners who will place their orders directly with the SCM.
- Establish installation and supply delivery requirements.
- Maintain appropriate records for the benefit of all involved parties.
- TS is writing training Manuals from which will emerge the establishment of training programs for the process involved in installation of the TSM's.
- Existing International Agreements:
- China - to manufacture and distribute up to 200,000 TSM's/annum.
- India - an 'in-principle" order for the supply of 40,000 TSM's.
- USA-discussions are in progress with a Chicago based engineering group focussing on a manufacturing license for the US.
(It should be noted that TS intends to focus its initial energies on the successful commencement of the rollout of TSM's into the Australian market. On this basis it is expected that sometime during 2012 TS will be in a position to turn its attention to providing offshore manufacturing/distribution Licensee's with the "knowhow" necessary to ensure successful start-ups occur in those countries).
